Athletic Greens specialises in high-quality dietary supplements. The company sells green powders, whey protein, as well as liquid vitamins. We were seduced by the fact that the company is approved by the TGA1, but also because their team is composed of researchers and nutritionists who cumulate up to 60 years worth of experience in the market.
Athletic Greens has also a line of products for high-performance athletes; we were more than surprised by the quality of their products, such as their liquid vitamins D3 and K2, handy and easy to carry, as well as their Superfood Cocktail, a formula that contains plenty of quality vitamins and minerals to provide your body with everything it needs.
Athletic Greens whey protein review
We were pleasantly surprised by their Premium Grass-Fed Whey. This whey mixed easily in the recipes we tried and possesses a great digestibility. This whey does not contain any added enzymes, which is quite rare (dietary supplements companies often add enzymes to improve the digestibility).
As you can see, this whey has only 5 ingredients!
This whey doesn’t contain any artificial sweeteners or preservatives, and neither herbicides nor pesticides have been used. To compare with other whey proteins on the market, the picture below details all the ingredients we usually find:
Because this whey contains only a single source of protein, the end product isn’t as denatured as other whey proteins. The milk comes from happy grass-fed cows in New Zealand, where law forbids the usage of antibiotics and hormones.
